I get this message a lot: "I've been taking a natural GLP-1 supplement and I don't feel any different. Is it a scam?"
Usually it's not the supplement. It's what's around it. A natural GLP-1 supplement supports the hormone your body already makes, so if the basics aren't in place, there's not much for it to build on. Here are the 5 things I check first.
1. You're not taking it consistently
Natural support builds over time. Taking it a few days a week, or only when you remember, won't give your body a steady signal. Take it the same way every day, as directed on the label. I keep mine next to the coffee maker so I never forget.
2. You're not eating enough protein
Protein is the strongest food trigger for GLP-1. If breakfast is coffee and a granola bar, your supplement is working uphill. Aim for 25–30g of protein at each meal, especially breakfast.
3. Your blood sugar is still on a rollercoaster
Sugary coffee drinks, snacking on crackers and skipping meals keep blood sugar spiking and crashing, and every crash brings cravings. Pair carbs with protein and fiber, and try not to eat sweets on an empty stomach.

Short sleep raises ghrelin (your hunger hormone) and lowers leptin (your fullness hormone). High stress pushes cortisol up, which can drive cravings and belly fat. You can't fix newborn sleep, but you can protect the sleep you do get and add a 10-minute walk on hard days.
5. You're expecting prescription-level results
This one is important. A natural supplement supports your own GLP-1 production. A prescription GLP-1 medication delivers a much stronger, longer-lasting signal. They're not the same thing, and a supplement won't feel like a shot.
Natural support is a great fit if you're breastfeeding, if you want a gentler starting point, or if you want to build habits first. Give it a fair shot: a few weeks of daily use alongside protein, fiber and steady blood sugar.
Still breastfeeding? Here's the setup I'd use
The GLP-1 Starter Pack brings together everything I'd use while nursing: GSLIM for natural GLP-1 and blood sugar support, Milk Dust protein to hit your protein and support your supply, and Metabolism support.

For breastfeeding moms
Give your natural GLP-1 everything it needs
This is how I'd support my natural GLP-1 while nursing, with no prescription and no injection. The pack includes Milk Dust protein (protein + lactation support), GSLIM to support your body's own GLP-1 and healthy blood sugar, and Metabolism support. $99 for the full pack.

When it might be time for more support
If you've been consistent for a couple of months, your protein and blood sugar habits are solid, and you still feel stuck, there may be more going on. Hormones, thyroid, insulin resistance or perimenopause can all play a part. Not sure whether it's appetite or hormones? Take the quiz in my free Starter Guide.
Milk Dust Clinic
Done breastfeeding and still stuck? Let's look deeper.

GLP-1 medications aren't recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Still nursing? The Starter Pack above is the natural route.
The bottom line
If your natural GLP-1 supplement isn't working, check these 5 things first: consistency, protein, blood sugar, sleep and stress, and your expectations. Fix the foundation and give it time. If you've done all that and you're done breastfeeding, a provider can help you decide what's next. 💛
